What Causes Human Beings To Get Unwanted Wrinkles?

As humans begin to grow older, their skin cells start to divide more slowly, and the dermis begins to thin. Wrinkles develop as we get older because substances like collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid decrease with age. All of these substances provide the skin with structure. Another reason why human beings begin to develop wrinkles is because the skin's ability to preserve moisture diminishes, causing the sweat and oil-secreting glands to worsen. This results in the skin becoming dry and scaly. The skin then loses it's elasticity, and instead of going back to it's normal form, it sags and forms wrinkles. However, this is not the only way wrinkles are caused. Wrinkles can also be caused by too much exposure to ultraviolet radiation and smoking cigarettes.
